This beautiful ground-floor apartment is situated in an enviable position within the city of Plymouth. Less than a mile stroll away is the highly-rated Royal William Yard offering a stunning setting for eateries, bars and local shops with breathtaking views over Plymouth Sound and across to Cornwall. You can choose to wander around the Cricket Grounds, and the nearby parks, go wild swimming at Devils Point, or walk on the Hoe. If you prefer, there is a choice of local outdoor swimming pools, Mount Wise (about a 20 min walk) has three pools or on the seafront 2 miles away, the beautiful Grade II, Art Deco Tinside Lido is the perfect place for a dip in the summer months. If you are more of a night owl, Plymouth has a very active theatre and concert venue, which is also the home of the Plymouth Raiders Basketball Team. Plymouth is a great base to explore Devon and Cornwall, with its quaint villages, cathedrals, towns and truly stunning beaches. Some are not too far away, Bovisand (8 miles) and Burgh Island (24 miles) or if you rather go by foot – take the ferry from Royal William Yard to Cawsands. Alternatively, you can devote a day to discovering the natural wonders and beauty of Dartmoor National Park, or explore the remarkable Eden Project (36 miles).

When you arrive at Mount Wise, and step inside the communal entrance hallway and into your apartment, you can relax, take your shoes off, hang up your coats, and make yourself a drink with the complementary welcome pack. Just inside the apartment door on your right is a useful cupboard with a washer/dryer, on your left is somewhere to keep your keys and a welcome book, which explains more details about the apartment. There are two bedrooms, the master bedroom is to your left with a king-size bed with Smart TV and an en-suite shower room with WC. Next door is the second bedroom, another king-size bed with Smart TV, both bedrooms have an Alexa Smart speaker to help kickstart your day. Opposite in the hall is a family bathroom with shower over bath and WC, both bathrooms are packed full of daily essentials. To the rear of the apartment is the open-plan kitchen, dining area and lounge space. With beautiful floor-to-ceiling sliding doors, you can fill the room with light and bring the outside air in. The kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of space for storage and cooking, including a L'Or POD coffee machine. A dining table is centrally placed with ample space for everyone, it can also be extended to accommodate more people. Completing the space is a cosy lounge area with two sofas, one of which is a sofa bed if needed. There are a number of board games, books and a Smart TV to provide entertainment for all ages.

Outside there is an enclosed tranquil space with frosted balustrades, patio furniture for al fresco dining, and a large parasol to seek some shade.

A beautiful and comfortable apartment fully equipped with everything thing we needed. One of the best apartments weve stayed in. Within walking distance of RWY and ferries to the Barbican and Cremyll.

Had a wonderful stay at skippers corner. Property was comfortable warm a real home from home. Every need was catered for extras which were not expected scattered around the apartment, such as toiletries, cooking spices, tissues, new toothbrush and coffee pods etc. For me it made all the difference that thought had been given to make your stay more Read morecomfortable. Skippers Corner is an immaculate, well-equipped, extremely comfortable & very quiet ground floor apartment in a very well maintained apartment block. Access to the barrier controlled car park & parking in the designated bay was easy because of the clear & concise instructions given by the owner. Same applied to access to the building & apartment. TRead morehere is a regular bus service (stops nearby) into Plymouth City Centre or one can walk there (20/25 minutes stroll). A really great place to stay. Hide

This has been our second visit to Skippers Corner, and has emphasised what a well presented and well equipped apartment this is. The thoughtful owners seem to have thought of everything for Guest's needs, and more!!! We are already planning for a third visit next year.

Really lovely apartment. Easy walk in to Plymouth centre and we also walked down the harbours and the lidos which was lovely in the sunshine too.

This is the best self catering accommodation I have ever stayed in. The owners have thought of everything and more. You literally just need your clothes and personal toiletries Tesco is so convenient, grounds are lovely, nice walks nearby. It's a beautifully located place to stay. Owners have accounted for every possible need even a multicharger was available. It was so clean and it's just an adorable place to stay. All amenities are within walking distance.

The apartment was perfect for our needs while visiting family in Plymouth. Ground floor and all on one level. It was spotlessly clean, modern and well equipped. As well as Plymouth itself it was great for access to coastal Devon and Cornwall and the moors.

Absolutely lovely spacious apartment, clean throughout and everything you would need was supplied even down to beach towels. Secure car park and access to the apartment via security code was really important. Location was excellent with a Tesco extra on the doorstep and easy access to bus stops.

We had a lovely week at this stylish modern apartment. Even though it is in a block we didnt hear any of the neighbours. It is set in a peaceful secure location. Everything was clean and comfortable. Communication with owner was easy. Close to many places of interest. Would highly recommend.

This is one of the best places we have ever stayed. They have thought of everything. We never felt we needed anything. Kitchen was well equipped on top of milk, coffee, tea, sugar there were cookies in a jar. We really enjoyed this stylish and practical aprtment, even when it was raining. The owners helped us with all our concerns immediately and very kindly. This is just the kind of accommodation we would love to find on any holiday!
