We had a great week at The Old Rectory. It is in a fantastic location, with good views, and walks in open countryside straight from the door. The house is comfortable and spacious, and really well equipped for catering for 12: two ovens (one huge), two dishwashers, big fridge and separate freezer, washing machine, plentiful pots, pans, baking trayRead mores and utensils etc. The owner is next door - very welcoming and leaves you with privacy. The owner's daughter runs a riding stable nearby. An excellent house, highly recommended. Hide

A huge house & garden packed with character and spotlessly clean, the owner was very friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed our stay as a family, lots of room for everyone to gather and all the equipment needed to entertain. The furnishings were very comfortable and plenty of space for numerous cars. A short drive into wonderful Hay on Wye.
