Take off on foot or bike along the Camel Trail (0.5 miles), a scenic, traffic-free route running from Padstow to Wenfordbridge. Visit the picturesque town of Bodmin (5.5 miles) with its historic Georgian jail museum and a range of eateries and shops. Explore the scenic Bodmin Moor National Landscape (10 miles), which boasts panoramic views, prehistoric sites, and is home to abundant wildlife. If you fancy a day by the coast, visit the seaside town of Rock (13.5 miles), which has a lovely beach, and a ferry that will take you over the estuary to the fishing port of Padstow, known for its many seafood restaurants. About 9 miles away lies the market town of Wadebridge with its independent shops and cycle hire opportunities.
