Chatsworth House and Kedleston Hall are all a short drive away, as are pretty towns and villages such as Matlock Bath, Ashbourne, Bakewell and Buxton, all of which boast an array of shops and restaurants.
The interior of the cottage perfectly matches the beautiful exterior. A large glazed door leads into the spacious lounge and open-plan kitchen with gorgeous stone flagged floors. Upstairs, the bedroom is surprisingly large given the cosy cottage feel of the barn. Velux roof lights make this a spacious bright and airy room in the eaves, while exposed original oak beams gives this king-size room a wonderful feel. The suite area of the bedroom is the perfect place for curling up in one of the armchairs with a book or simply taking in the views. The bedroom has an en-suite with walk-in shower, hand basin, heated towel rail and toilet and underfloor heating.
