Tempting though it might be to spend your whole break chilling out at this ultra-stylish retreat, there’s a huge choice of things to do to suit all ages and tastes. Take the footpath that passes through the land directly onto Carsington Water first thing in the morning and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the waterside walks. Try your hand at windsurfing, canoeing and fishing, or, for those who like dry land, push your limits on an 8-mile mountain bike course. You will also find an award-winning restaurant, a playground, shops, four bird hides and miles of footpaths and bridleways to explore nearby. Step in through the floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors and take in the beautiful kitchen/diner with a huge vaulted ceiling. The kitchen is bright, contemporary and open-plan, offering an electric double oven, induction hob, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Come together around the kitchen island and plan the day ahead, watch the Smart TV or enjoy a relaxing dinner at the nearby dining table. The utility space houses the washing machine and tumble dryer. Take off your shoes and enjoy the underfloor heating as you wander through to the lounge with comfy seating and Smart TV. Downstairs is a handy double bedroom with en-suite shower and WC. Upstairs, there's a master bedroom with a super-king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, WC and freestanding bath with countryside views. There's also a king-size bedroom and a twin bedroom, both of which share a shower room with shower and WC.

The property is situated on the owners grounds and their dogs and cats may make an appearance. What a fantastic location to relax and unwind. Very beautiful home, stunning surroundings, great access to the beautiful countryside of the Peak District. All the bedrooms are beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable, kitchen very well equipped and enough parking for 4 cars. The best thing are the huge glass doors looking out to the beautiful outdoor seating area in the garden. We will most certainly return for another visit and already looking at dates for 2027. Hide
