A cosy traditional stone cottage, made for two, situated in the pretty village of Ketton. Explore the nearby Rutland Water, just five miles away, a stunning reservoir surrounded by verdant woodlands, perfect for leisurely walks or adventurous bike rides with cycle hire available. Head into the pretty town of Stamford which is widely regarded as one of the finest stone towns in England. The pretty facades of the town are a favourite with film and television producers and is less than 4 miles away. Experience the thrill of riding a steam engine, learn about the railway’s history and explore the picturesque surroundings of the Nene Valley area (10 miles). Explore Burghley’s magnificent 16th-century architecture, browse the family’s private fine art collections and discover 300 acres of deer park in the grounds and Burghley house (6 miles)

Step into the cottage into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, packed with character including, exposed beams and a traditional fireplace with a wood burner. The kitchen area offers everything you need to rustle up a meal, with a comfy sofa to put your feet up after a day exploring the area and patio doors leading to the courtyard outside. Head upstairs to get a good night's rest with a king-size bed and well-thought-out matching bedroom furniture. Make the most of having the choice of a shower or a bath in the en-suite bathroom with stylish bathroom fittings.

Stunning Cottage, with all you could want and more. Ideally situated for Rutland Water, Stamford and many more amazing places to visit. The Railway Pub, a beautiful welcoming pub is worth a visit.

Lovely cottage, perfect for a long weekend with lots of nice walks close by. The fire makes it feel super cosy and the bed is very comfortable.

Great cosy quaint cottage, good location for footpaths to walk the dog. Friendly pub The Railway nearby. Easy access to Stamford, Rutland Water . Definitely stay again.

A lovely, comfortable cottage in a great location. The outside space is sheltered and quite warm even on slightly cooler days. Lovely and easily walks around the village and local area.

A beautiful character cottage, within a few miles reach of interesting properties to visit, the Rutland waters and fantastic Barnsdale gardens. We ate outside in the very private walled courtyard of the cottage. Plenty of places to eat and drink in the nearby market town of Stanford. A delightful cottage in an idyllic rural village. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful countryside walks and scenery. The short drive to Stamford is well worth it as the town offers a quintessential English market town experience. Oodles of historic beauty and architecture alongside an array of restaurants and bars. Something for everyone.

Fantastic cosy cottage, really well maintained, in a perfect location with a great local pub. The cottage is decorated to a high standard and all rooms are idilic, love the log burner and was grateful for some wood that was left for us to use. Perfect to explore Stamford and Rutland Waters

Dove cottage is a sweet, cosy comfortable and warm place to stay. Well equipped with all we required for our brief Christmas stay. With a hot shower, bath and very comfortable bed Set in a part of the country we enjoy. Despite the weather we managed a pleasant walk around the area, via the footpaths. The property has been renovated to a very high standard with quality fixtures and fittings. Spotlessly clean and everything we needed was there for a relaxing comfortable stay. We would highly recommend this property and look forward to visiting again.
