Buxton is a Victorian spa and festival town, with the property situated within very easy walking distance of an array of shops, pubs and restaurants and the myriad of the Peak District footpaths to discover. Take a walk up to the famous Kinder Scout or enjoy a low-level amble around the beautiful Ladybower reservoir which is a sight. This property is perfectly located to explore the cultural pleasures such as the Devonshire Dome which is a street away, or head to the Opera House, visit Buxton Museum, stroll through the majestic Pavilion Gardens, take a spa treatment at the famous Grade 1 listed Crescent Hotel or fill your bottle from St Ann’s Well’s constantly-flowing 28°C natural spring water.

Tucked away in the depths of Buxton you will find your home away from home. This property is all you need for a cracking family trip. The lounge offers comfort and space aplenty with a large corner sofa and two-seater sofa all set around the electric fire and smart TV. What more could you ask for an evening in? The kitchen/diner is the heart of the house and a chef’s dream with plenty of worktop space to get the whole family involved. You will find a range cooker with two electric ovens, a grill and five-ring gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. Just before you head up to the first floor is the utility room with washing machine and plenty of drying space. There is also a WC and cloakroom to hang your coats after a walk around the Victorian Corbar Woods at the end of the road. On the first floor, we have a master bedroom with king-size bed and en-suite with walk-in shower and WC. There is also a double and single room along with a bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC.

Outside you will find a patio area with seating to enjoy a lovely evening under the stars. There is private parking for at least two cars.

We stayed at Bluebell House for a week with family. It was a real treat. The house is extremely well equipped, warm and comfortable and everything worked well. The location is good; 5 minutes walk from the Opera House and close to shops.

What a lovely, clean ,well equipt house , contemporary in a perfect location , it made our stay so more worthwhile, the welcome pack was such a useful and much appreciated item it was such a comfortable stay worth every penny well done Andrew and Jane for providi g such a wonderful holiday residence would highly recommend to friends and family

The cottage is ideally situated for Buxton centre, in a very quiet location with ample parking for two cars. It is equipped to a very high standard with everything one needs for a home from home. The paperwork from the owners explaining everything was the most comprehensive we have ever received. All in all a five star property.

Really well kept and equipped cottage in perfect location. Everything you need plus more for a self catering stay. Showers excellent The welcome tray and milk and the beautiful bunch of yellow roses was a lovely touch Owners very helpful and friendly. Lots of public transport available if you want a few days car free

We really enjoyed our stay in Bluebell House. It is very comfortable and clean. One of the best that we have stayed in. Great position for exploring both Buxton and the beautiful Peak District. Easy parking for 2 cars. We would highly recommend it.

Lovely clean and well appointed property that was great for our party of 5 with 2 cars. Perfect location for us as there are a handful of shops/bars/restaurants within a 5 minute walk, with most within a 15 minute walk. We had lovely tapas at San Pedro and a lovely Sunday lunch at The Old Sun Inn. Thanks for a lovely stay!

This is our second stay since Christmas and like before, we both love the sense as we walked through the front door, unpacked and settled in within less than 30 minutes. The quality of all the fixture, fittings and bedding, as well as the eye for detail on all other areas from the owners is second to known. I wish other owners were as careful.. BluRead moreebell House gets our 10/10 again and I'm pretty sure for next future visit. Hide
