You will be well served within this peaceful oasis where you can relax by the natural swimming pool or stroll through the acres of mature woodland. You are just a short drive from the vibrant market town of Ledbury, where you will find an excellent choice of amenities offering good local food and crafts. Known for its unique black and white timber frame cottages, lying on the border of Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and Worcestershire, this ideal location showcases the region's finest countryside and with a wealth of historic towns and villages, including the Malvern Hills and the cathedral cities of Hereford, Gloucester and Worcester. For the best of both worlds, there is a train station just a short distance away to take a stress-free train ride on the direct Worcester and Hereford line to London.

Drive through the electric gates and into the woodland where you will gain your first glimpse of the lodge. The wooden steps will lead you to the terrace where you can step inside to the lounge, a spacious room with comfortable sofas ready for you to sink into and relax after a day exploring, there is also a SmartTV/DVD and wood burner for when the nights draw in. There is a kitchen/diner to the rear, the kitchen is well-equipped with gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment and dishwasher, and a washing machine is found in the utility area. The dining area offers seating for everyone to enjoy a meal together. There is also a single bedroom on the ground floor and shower room with shower and WC. When the day is done, climb the stairs to the first floor where you will find two bedrooms. A king sized room to the front of the lodge with en-suite shower room and WC and an enclosed balcony that’s perfect for a morning coffee. There is a further double bedroom to the rear of the lodge with countryside views and en-suite shower room and WC.

Step outside onto the terrace at the rear of the property where there is seating for everyone to enjoy al fresco dining, a great BBQ, outdoor shower and private hot tub. You also have access to the natural outdoor swimming pool, and a shared sauna and gym. There is allocated off-road parking for two cars.

We chose this as a central location for ex-work colleagues to meet up. Three bedrooms with a log burner and a hot tub were the key requirements. The two upstairs double bedrooms were en suite and wonderful, one having a balcony. We stayed in Toad Lodge and it was lovely, warm, comfortable and plenty of space for 5 of us. The gym was exceptionally well equipped, my teenage son couldn't believe it and spent many hours in there! The lodges felt very private, and the hot tub was brilliant. We had a delightful week at Toad Lodge. We were blessed by sunshine the whole time which made our daily use of the pool a highlight. Swimming with damselflies and dragonflies hovering and surrounded by lilly pads and reeds and rushes, what a beautiful experience. The property was spacious and clean. We were made very welcome by the owners. The donkeys, chickens amd goats were a luvly surprise that our daughter loved. The grounds were peaceful and serene with plenty of local pubs serving good homemade food. Absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend.

The Lodge was great for a multi- generational family holiday. There was plenty of room to eat together and play games. Our grandaughter loved the setting in the wood and the freedom to play which it offered.

We had a fabulous weekend stay in Damselfly (Toad cottage). We were a group of 5 and had plenty of room. The setup was great, spotlessly clean and the hot tub was a great addition. Comfortable beds, great to have 3 bathrooms for the 5 of us and the kitchen was very well appointed. The wood burner was also a big bonus especiallly after a dip in the Read morepond! The gym was a big surprise - lots of excellent equipment to use. The grounds were immaculate and we loved the donkeys!! Well be back!! Hide
