Ideal for a quiet, relaxing break. The friendly owner obviously takes pride in the cottage and had a few nice touches which made it extra welcoming for the visitor.

What a fantastic find, a true gem of a holiday home, a real home from home. It has to be the cleanest property we've ever stayed in. Lovely setting close to various activities, Cheshire Oaks for a spot of retail therapy, Shrewsbury heritage trail with plenty of coffee shops en - route.

Excellent cottage for a secluded quiet stay. !SELECTED!The owners!ENDOFSELECTED! are on hand if you need them and they are a lovely couple. The walk round the grounds with the swing are great and produce from the garden is a treat, Strawberries were really nice and a pleasant surprise. Would definitely recommend this property.

The Bolthole is a perfect place to relax and unwind. Clean, well equipped and comfortable. We loved the floor to ceiling windows on three sides of the living area, giving plenty of light, and views across the owner's garden which you could enjoy even when it was too cool to sit out.

We spent a peaceful, relaxing weekend at The Bolt Hole. We spent our time wandering in the grounds, listening to the birdsong, or reading (both inside and out) but there are plenty of places to visit without having to drive far. The cottage has been finished to a high standard and is very comfortable, with everything you could need provided.

Quiet, comfortable, well equipped and welcoming. Our second stay was even better than our first due to some early Spring sunshine. A great area for a real 'Countryside' feel with lots of good watering holes nearby. We are looking forward to our third visit! p.s. equipped with an EV charger.

Lovely conversion done to a high standard with all you need for your stay. Very quiet and peaceful. Various pubs nearby and the Boating House in Elmsmere very good with a view of the lake. A wonderful cottage that was warm and welcoming as were Jane and George. It was well equipped and the welcome goodies were much appreciated. The underfloor heating was great and kept us warm and cosy. Bedding and towels were good quality. Bed was so comfy. The swing at the end of the garden was a lovely bonus. The cottage was more of a barn conversion set within stunning grounds belonging to the owners Jane and George, a lovely couple. It was bright and modern with patio doors front and back and glass walls either side of the log burner, to enjoy the stunning views.
