A haven for walkers and cyclists, there is a myriad of footpaths and cycling routes from the front door. And for those with an interest in wildlife, there are several nature reserves locally where you are free to roam. The TV is positioned to allow guests to watch from either the lounge or the bedroom. The bathroom includes an extra-large walk-in shower, and a WC.

We had the best stay at hill view. Firstly the view is picture postcard. The cottage itself was wonderful with everything we needed and more. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed all the facilities. Decorated lovely and modern. The hot tub with that view was amazing. Also the location is perfect, we fitted the forest of dean, Wyre valley, GloucesteRead morer and Wales in three days. We don't often go back but I think we will with hill view Hide

A good location with immediate access to walks and cycle rides. Only 15-20 min's drive to various nice pubs, cafes and the excellent Forest of Dean cycle centre. Although dog friendly, we found the accommodation a bit impractical returning with muddy boots and paws, and damp coats. You'll need lots of dog towels. Otherwise all facilities are very gRead moreood, clean and nicely presented. The view was briefly amazing when the fog cleared, can't escape the vagaries of our British weather! Pleasant host! Hide

Lovely very comfortable, dog friendly cottage with a superb view at the front with the added benefit of a hot tub over looking it! Excellent friendly hosts! The only downside is that your hot tub is right next to the hot tub for next door and is only divided by a pull out fabric screen. The cover over the tub folds open/up to help with a bit more pRead morerivacy but still not ideal because of the close proximity. You might find this uncomfortable if both holiday Cottages are using them at the same time. Hide

We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Horseshoe View. The views were spectacular and could be seen whilst having a relaxing soak in the hot tub which was very luxurious after a long day of walking. We enjoyed soaking up the beauty of the Forest of Dean which has many walks/trails to offer. Our dog also had a great time! Beautiful property, very clean and well equipment. Lovely views and very quiet even with neighbours joined to the property, wouldn't even know anyone was next door. The woods in walking distance from the property was brilliant, we honestly loved just being there relaxing.

Our only issue was the varnished floor. With a long legged dog she slipped and could not find her footing to getup. We had to put towels on the floor and jackets to ensure she had traction. It wouldn't affect a small dog but we were worried about her damaging something. Other than that the place was fabulous and a brilliant place to stay.
