This lovingly furnished barn is perfectly positioned for exploring the local amenities of Glastonbury and the surrounding nearby attractions. The heart of Glastonbury is 5 miles away and there you will find an array of independent eateries, jewellers and lots more. A couple of lovely places to visit include Chalice Well Gardens and Glastonbury Abbey and Tor. Visit the smallest city in England, Wells, famed for its cathedral and Bishops Palace, a 6.5-mile drive away. Other great attractions nearby include Wookey Hole Caves, Cheddar Gorge and discount shopping at the Clarks Village all within a 16-mile radius. If music is your thing, Glastonbury Festival is held yearly and is 0.7 miles from the property.

Step inside this beautiful barn which is adjacent to the owners’ property, yet privacy assured and you will immediately find yourself in the open-plan living area which boasts a large door to the outside and stunning original feature beams. An idyllic place to unwind after a day of exploring – cuddle up and watch the Smart TV whatever the weather. Enjoy an evening meal at the dining table which is perfectly appointed next to the kitchen area. Featuring a great range of appliances including a dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, washing machine, electric oven/hob and coffee machine. Across the hall is the ground-floor bedroom, spacious and lovingly furnished that includes a double-size bed. Next door is the walk-in wet room, complete with a spacious shower with grab rail, comfort height WC with handrail, and a beautiful Velux window welcoming the outside light. Venture upstairs and you’ll notice the original barn door rail. There’s a mezzanine bedroom with a king size bed, glass balcony with views over the living space below, complete with a TV.

Great holiday for the more mobile as there are some lovely walks to be had in the area. So younger mobile people - great but people using walking aids need to consider hard.

This was a fantastic break in a superb location for exploring Glastonbury, Wells, and Street. The Mousehole was such a lovely space for the relaxing and recharging break that we needed. This is a very modern barn conversion behind the owners home, and the owners were most helpful with any queries. Despite the very high ceilings we were warm and comfortable, and the cottage has everything we needed. The mousehole is lovely, beautifully renovated and has everything you need for a stay. Beds were comfy and wonderful to have a secure garden for the dogs. Hosts balanced friendliness and privacy. Would recommend - especially if you require a property with disabled access.

Recent stay and is in a perfect location for exploring thus part of Somerset. Great accommodation, which is dog friendly and very secure, so your woof can run free in the garden without any issues. The cottage is ideally equipped for anyone that has a problem with mobility. There is ample room within for a wheelchair toove around. The wet room is great. The door openings are wide which is also good. The beds are very comfortable and for us the best we have had when we have been away on holiday.

Great accommodation and location. Keith introduced us to the property on arrival and then we were very much left undisturbed. Great outdoor space for our rescue dogs that can be reactive at times. This little piece of heaven is amazing and exactly what we were looking for. The garden is completely enclosed so perfect for our two dogs. The Mousehole is wonderful. It's behind the owners' house but felt super private. It is a beautiful conversion, spotlessly clean and extremely well kitted out. I had a wonderful stay here with my dog and would absolutely recommend it.
