Overlooking Weymouth’s picturesque harbour and with dramatic sea views, this property takes you back in time, while boasting the familiar comforts of home. The cottage is in the heart of Weymouth, a charming seaside town with award-winning sandy beaches. The town’s harbour is full of life, whether it is the fishing boats and yachts on the water or the shops, cafes and restaurants on shore. Strolling along the esplanade, you can breathe in the sea air and enjoy the stunning sweep of Weymouth Bay. A short trip to Portland (3 miles), the location of the 2012 Olympic Games’ sailing, offers great walks and a visit to the famous lighthouse at Portland Bill, as well as being the southerly start of the dramatic, 18 miles of Chesil Beach. A little further afield is beautiful Lulworth Cove and one of Dorset’s most famous landmarks, Durdle Door (15 miles).

This charming, two-bedroom period property is set on a pretty pathway, a short walk from Brewers Quay and the bustle of the harbour. At the front of the house is the cosy living room, which has a Smart TV and wood burner for chilly winter days. The hallway leads into the dining room with its large, country-style table, which has ample space for eating as a family or an intimate dinner for two. Adjacent to the dining area is the well-equipped kitchen, from which you can reach the rear garden. A convenient utility area also leads from the kitchen and gives access to a downstairs WC. Up the staircase to the first floor, you will pass the bright family bathroom to reach the two bedrooms. The master bedroom, a double, is a large, light-filled, elegant room with breathtaking sea views from the beautiful bay window. Sitting by the window with a morning coffee taking in the beauty of the harbour and the sea beyond is a perfect start to the day. The second bedroom is a twin room with 2'6" beds, full of character and overlooking the rear garden.

At the front of the cottage is a small patio looking out to sea, while at the rear is a south-facing courtyard garden with coastal planting and rustic garden furniture to enjoy breakfast or supper out of doors. Please note, that part of the cottage’s charm is that it faces onto a quiet pedestrian path, so parking is not possible immediately outside. However, parking is available on nearby streets.

Trinity Cottage is comfortable, well equipped, with a bath and overhead shower easy to use. I highly recommend this property for location and amenities. As the owner states, parking is a bit restricted. I recommend you check for a space before driving up the very narrow lane way. Not suitable for large cars. But, the owner also provides parking options elsewhere in the area.

We enjoyed our stay so much. The house has an amazing view of the harbor from the upper floor, it is so cosy and well eqipped. We loved to make breakfast or cook at home during our stay.

Gorgeous cottage: very very clean and lovely location. Perfect views over the harbour. The kitchen was very well equipped in terms of equipment - great as we were hosting Christmas! - but very very basic in terms of toilet rolls (only 2 for a 3 night stay!), cleaning products (only washing up liquid, no surface cleaner, no washing machine tablets) Read moreand only 1 tea towel so disappointingly you have to bring all of that. Would def book again if it werent for those small things. Hide

A really comfortable house with fantastic views and a great location for access to the town, harbour, supermarkets and attractions. Although parking adjacent to the house was not possible, we were always able to leave our car in the nearest streets and to back (carefully!) down the very narrow access road to load up before leaving. Trinity cottage is a very nice and cozy cottage, with a log burner in the sitting room, which was great on a winters evening to sit and relax. You can find everything you need in the well equipped kitchen and there is a nice view from the main bedroom bay window. The location is very convenient.
