A short trip to Portland (3 miles), the location of the 2012 Olympic Games’ sailing, offers great walks and a visit to the famous lighthouse at Portland Bill, as well as being the southerly start of the dramatic, 18 miles of Chesil Beach. A little further afield is beautiful Lulworth Cove and one of Dorset’s most famous landmarks, Durdle Door (15 miles).

Please note, that part of the cottage’s charm is that it faces onto a quiet pedestrian path, so parking is not possible immediately outside. However, parking is available on nearby streets.
