Well-placed for railway enthusiasts and walkers: the High Peak Trail is just up the road (and could be reached by bus on lazy days) - a fascinating peice of industrial archaeology. Good local walks minutes away. And lots of good places to eat.

Fabulous cottage in a really good location. Having a parking space was a real bonus. The town was a quick 2 minute walk and has everything you need for a minin break or even longer.

We stayed here at the start of August and enjoyed exploring the local area, including a lovely walk to the canal. It's position in the small town means you're not too far from Chatsworth and Matlock.
