Wow - We have been coming to the Southwold area several times a year for nearly a decade and this is without doubt the best property we have stayed at ! Roomy , well equipped but not over furnished , extremely clean , large gardens set in a tranquil location , but less than 15 minutes drive to Southwold

A snug, delightful cottage, well-equipped and comfortable. A large garden with garden furniture, fenced off area with washing line, surrounded by trees. Set in fields and woodland on a very quiet lane, just a few other houses nearby. Good for cycling on quiet lanes.

The most we have ever paid for a holiday cottage, but did not feel it was worth the extra. Too many things need attention. Having said that the location is excellent - very quiet with lots of trees and wildlife.

A lovely cottage in a very pretty location. Really peaceful with fantastic view of the stars. The owner left a really nice welcome pack with ground coffee. It was interesting to read the history of the cottage. We went on walks starting and finishing at the door. It's a great location for trips to Southwold, and Walberswick.

We had a lovely stay at Homestead 2 which was well positioned for visiting Southwold and Aldeburgh. We hadnt realised that both bathrooms were downstairs; it wasnt an issue for our stay but, if those staying upstairs need toilet visits in the night, it is worth noting. The welcome basket was lovely and the kitchen was one of the most well equipped Read morekitchens weve seen. There was some washing up liquid, tea towels, jay cloth and scourer which was great, and even mini bottles of shampoo etc in the bathrooms and some dog treats in a jar. Logs are only provided for the fire now over Xmas and New Year but we bought our own from one of the local farm shops. Our dog loved the garden grounds so much and we all really enjoyed our stay.
