St Elizabeths makes a very comfortable base from which to explore the southern portion of Somerset. South Petherton has a comprehensive range of facilities, and nearby Ham Hill is a must for a dog walk. Castle Cary and Sherborne both have a good selection of independent shops, and there are several local farmers markets. We hope to return.
