This charming mid-terrace cottage is set in the heart of Wooler, a welcoming market town known as the gateway to the Cheviot Hills and surrounded by some of Northumberland’s most beautiful scenery. From the doorstep, guests can stroll to independent shops, cosy cafés, traditional pubs, and riverside walks, or head into the hills for a day of exploring. Wooler sits right on the edge of the stunning Northumberland National Park, offering direct access to walking, running and cycling routes that lead through dramatic landscapes and quiet moorland. Just a short walk away, Wooler Common is a peaceful patch of woodland and open country, ideal for a morning walk or a sunset picnic. The area also forms part of the Northumberland International Dark Sky Park, making it a brilliant spot for stargazing on clear nights. For days out, the coast is within easy reach, with Bamburgh, Seahouses and Holy Island offering long stretches of sand, striking castles and sweeping sea views. The town is also home to the Ad Gefrin museum and whisky distillery - an impressive new attraction celebrating the region’s Anglo-Saxon heritage.

Step into the cosy lounge with comfy seating and plenty of space for a couple or small family to relax. After a day in the fresh air, unwind in front of the electric fire with a drink in hand, warm your toes, pick up a book, listen to some music, or catch up on your favourite shows on the TV. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need for your stay, including an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee machine and dishwasher. Gather around the dining table for sociable mealtimes or plan the day ahead over a morning coffee. Upstairs, you will find two double bedrooms and a shared family bathroom with a bath and shower over.

To the rear of the cottage, accessed through the kitchen and past the double garage, you’ll discover a private garden - a lovely space to sit out with a drink, enjoy an alfresco meal, or let the kids have a kickabout.

The cottage is in a lovely location and is decently equipped, clean and comfortable. Nice to have an enclosed garden and off road parking and the neighbours were very friendly.
