The cottage is set just nine miles from Newcastle city centre, which is accessible both by car and park and ride. On arrival at this well-presented Grade II listed holiday cottage, you will discover that is has a homely feel and is tastefully decorated throughout. Stay warm in the cosy living room, equipped with a log burning stove and a large stone fireplace. The lounge features a TV/ DVD. Cook up a storm in the fully-fitted kitchen on its electric oven, hob. Other facilities include a fridge/freezer. Moving upstairs, the property is home to three spacious bedrooms: a king-size, while the other two bedrooms include twin and midi beds, perfect for kids or extra guests. There is also a bathroom upstairs, which includes a shower over the bath with WC, and a separate shower room.

 

If you’re keen to make the most of the outdoors during warm summer evenings, you can access the property’s garden from the rear. Perfect for whiling away a few hours before bed, the garden boasts a BBQ, a table and generous garden seating. The garden is also enclosed, making it an ideal and safe play space for children and dogs. There is also one allocated parking space available at the property.

We had a wonderful stay at this spotlessly clean and thoughtfully prepared cottage. Rachel was a fantastic host, providing lovely touches like kitchen utensils, comfy bedding, and games like Jenga that my son loved. It was incredibly dog-friendly; Myla was well-catered for with her own blankets and a large water bowl. Despite the nearby road, the hRead moreouse and garden remained peacefulperfect for an outdoor breakfast. Its location was ideal for visiting Chester-le-Street, Newcastle, and Beamish. Cosy and homely, spotlessly clean and comfortable, well equipped cottage which provided a great base for our visit with family. The enclosed garden was perfect for our two dogs.
