A very characterful cottage, in a perfect location. Despite the central location it was surprisingly quiet. There is a low doorway to the kitchen which is a bit of a hazard and the parking is tight. We drive a Skoda yeti and it fitted but anything larger would not fit in the space. The cottage was very tastefully decorated, really felt comfortable.Read more The kitchen was small but very well equipped. A real bonus having 2 shower rooms. Hide

Cottage was ideally situated just a stone's throw from town but still quiet at night. Beds were comfy with the added bonus of 3 bathrooms plus sinks in every bedroom. Kitchen was well equipped although a tight squeeze at one end - this added to the charm. Bedrooms were spacious with plenty of storage. Courtyard garden was private and had enough seaRead moreting for al fresco meals. Nice touch was the hand towels in each of the bathrooms as well as bath towels and several tea towels and cleaning products. Overall a quaint, comfortable and charming cottage close to all amenities; train station, bus station, beaches, gardens, shops, restaurants and country park. 4g wifi not reliable enough for "work from home" use Hide

Lovely house situated very handy for the shops, restaurants and beach. Parking in the space is a bit scary as theres a lip to get over and its very tight. Well furnished, very clean with everything you could need.

This property in a fantastic position to access all that Swanage has to offer. I would not recommend it for a small child, however, even though a cot and highchair are provided.

The Cottage was in a brilliant location, for the town, the sea and beach, Durlston Castle and the coast path walks. The cottage was very well furnished, comfortable and a joy to stay in. We would choose to stay in Providence Cottage again A great place to stay and a big thank you to the owners

Cottage and Swanage suit us perfectly. It's just far enough to think you've been in away, there's loads to do, or you can just relax if you want to. The people are friendly, they appreciate your custom, and remember you from last time. The Tapas Bar is a welcome addition to the many eateries, and well worth a visit. The railway is great, as is the ferry to Poole Hide

Lovely property, well equipped kitchen, good size rooms, nice decor. Lots of loo roll, towels, comfy beds, nice welcome pack. Location is excellent, near the beach, restaurants and shops. Was a little noisy on the Sunday night (Monday was a bank holiday) from a nearby pub, but was only one night out of a 6 night stay. Otherwise was very peaceful.

Perfectly positioned cottage in the centre of Swanage with the rare addition of its own parking space. The cottage is homely and welcoming with everything you need.
