This property sits in the calm surroundings of a beautiful harbour where water flows in from the River Medina. This home from home provides guests with easy access to some of the island's most popular attractions; it is close to the historic Osborne House (3.5 miles) where you can easily enjoy a day out taking in all the history and you will also find the famous Isle of Wight Festival site is also nearby too, under 2 miles away. If a beach break is more your style, the property provides easy access to an array of golden sands, from the beautiful shores of Ryde (5.5 miles) to the seaside resort of Shanklin (10 miles) – you will most certainly not be disappointed.

There is a small step approaching stunning harbour getaway,  you will initially come through to the ground-floor hallway which leads swiftly onto the open-plan kitchen/diner. The spacious kitchen space has everything you need including an electric oven, induction hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, and even a breakfast bar with two seats whilst the gorgeous dining table provides ample comfortable seating for all guests. There is a Smart TV here, ideal for catching up with the morning news whilst planning the day's adventures ahead. Sliding doors leading out to the decking with a hot tub and a seating area. Back down the hallway is a snug room that can also be used as a desk space if ever needed – a brilliant place to relax with a good book. Completing this floor is a cloakroom with a WC. Making your way up the first flight of stairs will bring you initially to the deluxe lounge which has two comfortable sofas, a Smart TV, and a choice of two balconies that can be accessed through sliding doors on two separate sides of the room. We also best not forget the wonderfully designed electric fire feature which encapsulates the true quality of this property. This floor features the first of the family shower rooms which contains a walk-in shower and WC, from which we then come to the first bedroom in the property, containing a double bed and plenty of wardrobe space. From here, you take the second set of stairs to the second floor where two further bedrooms are found; one containing a double bed, and the other handily provides guests with a double bed and the addition of a single bed for any additional guests staying. A bathroom is found on this floor too, containing a bath and a WC. And last but certainly not least, to the top floor of this truly unique property where the master bedroom is found. This is a special space that indulges guests with panoramic views of the harbour and surrounding properties. It contains a king-size bed with the added luxury of its own en-suite shower room too, complete with a shower and a WC.

From the kitchen/diner, you can make your way out through the sliding doors to an exquisite outdoor decking area with a private hot tub and outdoor seating. It’s a truly marvellous spot to relax and unwind under the beautiful night’s sky. There is also a large, shared field opposite the property with seating, which is ideal for children to burn some energy whilst adults can sit and take in the peaceful surroundings. There is 1 private parking spaces directly next to the property, however, there is also the added benefit of a large, shared parking area for additional vehicles a very short walk away.

Potentially an excellent property however it's location gives little or no privacy from neighbouring properties with balconies less than 4 mtrs away and the hot tub is in poor condition, had food and vegetation debris in it and was totally overlooked from the adjacent footpath and neighbouring properties.

Spacious comfortable house over 4 floors, large kitchen diner ground floor well equipped, lounge with 2 balconies on 1st floor along with 1 bedroom and bathroom. Great 4 person hot tub on 1 of 2 decking areas . Quiet area, house overlooking marina

This was a great property. Amazing central location Huge house for five of us. Cozy and warm and extremely comfortable. The hot tub was a must and there arent many properties on the Island that offer all this property did with the space. Parking was easy. The marina area was really peaceful. We needed to drive to restaurants- no easy walk-to optionRead mores but there are plenty of restaurants within a 10-15 drive. Hide

We had a lovely stay at Calm Waters. It is in a fabulous location - very quiet and peaceful and beautiful views of the marina and all parts of the island accessible and not too long a drive. Very handy that there is a bathroom on each floor. Good space for two families - not crowded or cramped.

I really enjoyed the space this place offered. It meant we could all sit together or sit elsewhere if we needed space from others. The hot tub is on the smaller side and comfortably seats 4 people. It is in quite an open spot as the house is in a residential aread with other peoples balconies looking out towards the hot tub, so it does lack privacyRead more. This property is amazing and would be worth the money but these small changes would make a difference. The house was at a great location for our family. Sadly the neighbours didnt like us playing on the grass outside!!

On the whole the house was fantastic, and the go to lady was very helpful. In my opinion she could do with a hand to keep it a little cleaner. Under the stairs was a complete mess and I tidied it all out .The house is lacking in some very simple things like a clothes airer and pegs, more kitchen utensils and pint glasses , were only 2 induction hobRead more pans and only one side of the job actually worked, also more info on the white goods as everyone has different ones at home. A lovely property with great location but decoration felt a little tired. Would we stay again? Absolutely. Is it worth the premium peak time rental charges, probably not.
