Another excellent stay at this warm, cosy but spacious cottage. The kitchen is well stocked for home cooking, and the crockery is high quality. Always plenty of hot water. Lovely peaceful setting. Very friendly owner. The food at the village pub is really good and is inexpensive. Plenty to do in the area, but one needs a car. A friendly and helpful welcome from the owner to this lovely cottage. Beautifully located by a river, with useful on site path and secure garden for dogs. Cosy but spacious. I would certainly stay again.

The cottage had everything we needed and is situated in beautiful countryside with easy access by car to the coast and places to visit. Our 4th trip to this cottage, always in February so often wet, but with some sunshine - as you'd expect at this time of year. The cottage is beautifully warm and cosy, though, with a log fire if you want one. Plenty of space, and we'll equipped. Tens of DVDs and books if you want those, and a few family games and jig saws. A beautifully situated cottage, in the rural downland of Dorset, with plenty of wildlife. Kingfishers, otters, dragon flies of every radiant colour and butterflies. The cottage is fully equipped and there are good suggestions for local walks. We highly recommend this as a wonderful place to stay
