There are a number of minor problems: both toilet seats were loose; double bed mattress hard, but nothing major. Bathroom is somewhat cramped for the larger person. However in general a nice place in a great location. Chairs etc and bins are in the garage.

The cottage was a lovely escape. Tranquil and great location for Studland beaches and walks. The garden was lovely to sit in, very peaceful. I personally found the double bed lacked comfort considering how much the week was. Its lovely and basic in its approach which is part of the style but Id like a cosy bed and comfy chairs. I think its a beautiRead moreful cottage in a nice quiet location and Id go back but ideally after a softer bed was put in. Hide

Heath Cottage is a real (cosy) home from home. Our 4th visit, over the Christmas week, we miss it already. The location is terrific, especially for walkers (and dogs) with plenty to do in the area- and a short drive to other great spots if needed. Studland is beautiful, and we've loved all of our visits, whatever the weather.

Location cannot be beaten and with deer grazing in the garden and beautiful views it really is a nature immersion. Cottage is comfy enough and well equipped.

Location and garden amazing. Fantastic views. Drive from public road up up unadopted road not great, especially in heavy rain when you cannot judge depth of the many enormous pot holes. Cottage very basic but priced accordingly.
