Situated in an elevated position overlooking Ventnor's Esplanade and harbour, this apartment is ideally placed not only to explore the delights of this bustling seaside town, with its local shops, bars and restaurants but is within a two minute walk of the island’s southernmost holiday beach. Several other tourist destinations are accessible, from Shanklin to Freshwater Bay and the oldest theme park in the UK, in neighbouring Blackgang Chine. There is something for all the family to enjoy here! Ventnor is located beneath St Boniface Down, the highest point on the Isle of Wight, and this apartment is perfect for those who want to be close to Ventnor’s seafront and town but with access to a wealth of coastal and upland walks, local history and culture.

Being on the first floor, this apartment benefits from its elevated position with fantastic uninterrupted sea views. The apartment is light and spacious with large bay windows to the front. The open-plan kitchen/diner is fully equipped with electric oven, grill and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The dining table (extendable) offers ample seating for guests. Where better to sit of an evening to watch the sun setting over the sea, whilst enjoying a cold glass of wine. With even more views from the main lounge, everyone can enjoy the magnificent vista, with a Smart TV and Smart DVD you can also snuggle up after a busy day and watch your favourite film. Along the hallway you will find the master king-size bedroom with en suite shower room and WC, and the twin bedroom just opposite. The bedrooms are quiet and have views of St Boniface Down. The family bathroom sits at the end of the hallway.

The apartment’s south-facing balcony, with access from the snug, has the most amazing sea views. The ideal spot to sit out and enjoy a cold drink on a sunny summers evening. Limited on street parking is available nearby, on a first come first served basis. For peace of mind, the nearby public car park (3 minutes walk) offers weekly or daily parking permits.

This property had everything you could possibly want, including milk for a cuppa upon arrival! The accomodation is lovely, particularly the open plan kitchen with table and chairs and window seat. The sea views are amazing. The location is very central. Just a quick walk to the beach, or into town. Great location for us as non drivers. Spacious apartment, well equipped, comfortable beds and furniture. Having a balcony is an addition we always look for, the views from it were far reaching. Very relaxing stay.

Excellent place to position ourselves for a touring holiday and Ventnor as a base. The apartment well equipped and it overlooking the harbour and sea is prime position. The kitchen diner we spent most of our time and the lounge to watch television or one of the many DVDs. There is also a middle room which accesses the balcony, i assume on a good daRead morey weather warm an excellent place to haev a glass of wine. We travelled as two couples so the two bedrooms and ensuite and bathroom helped with privacy. Anywhere in the island is within 10 to 15 miles journey if your without a car the excellent bus service would be ideal, we had a car but always saw regular buses going everywhere. Places to visit numerous so enjoy. Only issue is the bedroom with twin beds, well they are a little small for the average adult, more suitable for teens or children. Well looked after by the contact, if we needed anything she was contactable. Finally we were lucky to park adjacent to property each night except last but we parked just round the corner, parking in busier season may be a problem, there is long stay close by too. The apartment didn't live up to our expectations (based on reviews, description and photos). We found it was generally not very well kept but a good sort out, a bit of love and a deep clean could work wonders. The bedrooms are really dark and dingy, with inadequate lighting. Cliff View Apartment is a very comfortable property with amazing views over the sea. Everything that we needed was provided. It was only a few minutes walk to Ventnor beach and the Esplanade, the coastal path and the shops. We would definitely stay there again.

Lovely apartment, stunning views and a great location. Parking can be tricky, but a space did become available along the road each night. Annoyingly after we'd paid for the parking permit, however it did not spoil of affect our minibreak. We'll be very happy returning to this apartment!

The apartment is very spacious, well equipped and comfortable. The views from the front windows are incredible. Stairs may be a problem for some as would the walk up from the sea front. Parking can be a problem at busy times as there is no parking allocated to the property.

Lovely quiet, light and airy, well equipped 1st floor apartment in a good location, and with stunning views. Note, no lift in the building to access the apartment if you have mobility issues. Parking outside the property can be an issue due to restrictions. Free parking nearby if space available, otherwise you have pay to park. Luckily we got spaceRead more in the road most days. Wonderful location and amazing view. Immaculately clean. Extremely quiet with no noise outside or from above / below. Thoughtful touches (lots of just a pinch of things in the kitchen, enough dishwasher tablets, umbrella in case you forgot yours). Wish we lived here!

The apartment is absolutely first class; roomy and plenty of lovely features. A first class kitchen / diner; generous sized lounge and two roomy bedrooms. The balcony is a good size with great views out to sea. I can't recommend the apartment highly enough and, if I have anything to do with it, will definitely return.
