Well equipped cottage with plenty of plates and crockery, super-soft carpets in the lounge and bedroom, beautiful conservatory which got the afternoon/evening sun so lovely to sit in with a drink in the evening. Debbie and her mother were both very welcoming and helpful, and we certainly appreciated the cream tea when we arrived! The local communitRead morey shop is within walking distance, although up a hill; it was very well stocked with local produce and a post office. There is an upmarket restaurant near the shop, and a pub about 3 minutes drive down the hill - within walking distance for the fit! The cottage is about 5 mins drive from Lymington, with its marina, harbour and good selection of shops including M & S Food and Waitrose. New Forest walks are a short drive away, as is Bucklers Hard, Beaulieu and Lyndhurst. A peaceful place to return to at the end of the day. Hide
