Lovely cottage. Very clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Superb location, nice and quiet. Parking space essential! Steep stairs and a downstairs bathroom so needed concentration if getting up in the night! (but it wasn't a problem). Thoroughly enjoyed staying at Creel Cottage

The cottage was comfortable and cosy. The kitchen was very well equipped and a pleasure to cook in. The bed was very comfortable and we appreciated the blackout curtains in the bedroom. The location is great, peaceful but also a short walk to restaurants and shops. The only thing that we didnt like was the shower, which was pretty weak.

Cosy old fisherman's cottage located just up from the harbour and close to a couple of good pubs. Also within easy walking distance of local COOP and high street. We had a lovely week staying here. The cottage was well equipped, clean & comfortable. Just a 2 minute walk down to the harbour, passing 2 great local pubs. The Black Swan does great food & cocktails. It was a great base to travel around the Northumberland coast line, only a short drive to Bamborough. The cottage was the perfect base to enjoy the wonderful scenic coastline . We could walk for miles and then enjoy the local pubs and grub. We had many interesting trips to the surrounding castles, plus Farne Isles and Lindisfarne. Our host was very helpful and we look forward to a return trip when the sea birds and puffins will be nesting.
