Gwynnant House is an attractive stone cottage with enclosed large lawned garden and hot tub, on the edge of the village of Rhydlewis, a short drive from picturesque Llangrannog, and from Newcastle Emlyn with the added bonus of being within easy reach to several beaches. This is a fantastic base for anyone wishing to explore the magnificent Ceredigion coast and countryside. Beautiful beaches and coves along Cardigan Bay, such as Poppit Sands, Mwnt, Llangrannog, Tresaith, Penbryn, Cwm Tydi and the popular hotspot of Aberaeron. Dolphins can often be spotted along the coastline and you can take a boat ride from New Quay to get even closer. Seals and porpoises are regular visitors at different times of the year.

Rhydlewis is a quiet picturesque village with trout farm fishing nearby. There are several good eateries such as La Calabria, and delightful village pubs for a drink and food within 2 miles. Llangrannog has a popular sandy beach, range of small shops and eating places, dry ski slope and golf course. There are many other attractive coastal towns within easy reach, and good walking in the area, including the Wales Coast Path. This is a good, central location for exploring the coast and countryside of Ceredigion, Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. Canoeing at Llandysul, coracles on the River Teifi, working woollen mills and textile museum, Henllan steam railway and Cardigan Arts Centre nearby. Llain Activity Centre offers high rope activities, kayaking or paddle boarding. Moody Calf a short drive away offers excellent soft play activities for youngsters.
