Stayed for two weeks. Being the lower part of the (original Byre) it is darker than if you choose the upper floor levels but the sitting room was comfortable & lights were needed to be switched on kitchen area but again not a deal breaker. Being the main route to and from Malham cove there is heavy traffic but again not off putting although care Read moreneeds to be taken when walking along the road from the Byre to the public footpath (30 yards away) which takes you to the river and access to the Pennine Way and excellent walks at hand . Steep steps leading down to the Byre so not for the unsteady . Enclosed area excellent for dog owners. there is a board to put across the bottom of the steps to ensure your dog remains on site but if your dog is big enough to jump you should take more care as it is a working farm. Superb farm shop and cafe excellent food and great friendly staff . The cafe is very popular with walkers, cyclists etc Hide

Thank you for a lovely stay, we very much enjoyed the property and you can't beat it's location! We felt very lucky to be able to pop into the tearoom for a drink or a bite whenever we liked.

The barn is spacious and well-equipped. Considering it is next to a quiet road, the stone wall makes the property private. There is ample parking and you get used to the sixteen steps down to the ground floor of the barn. There are endless walks from the property and in the surrounding area where the views are stunning.

This property is well equipped and the beds really comfortable. Unfortunately we found the sofas rather uncomfortable. The location is excellent for exploring pretty villages and towns and there are great walks everywhere! The downside is the garden doesn't get any sun after lunchtime but you can sit on a seat just outside the garden with beautifulRead more views! The farm shop and tearoom next door is also fantastic.
