Lovely property in the heart of Thornton Le Dale, comfortable beds, large bedrooms and main bathroom. Two quaint and cozy lounges, nicely equipped kitchen. Thornton Le Dale is a delightful village with plenty to see and do. It has a handy village store, along with Tea rooms and a great pub or two.

Generally clean and well equipped cottage but a little tired. Situated right on Whitby road and very busy traffic from early morning as no double glazing sleep was very poor. Nice touch having Sky TV Thornton dale is lovely village but busy. Good bus routes into Pickering and surround.

Quirky cottage, well positioned but noisy road, be wary of changes in level inside.

We were new to the area and found Thornton well placed for jumping off point when exploring. Lovely people in the village shops and tons of great places to eat. Book early though. The cottage was comfortable and convenient for the shops etc.

Thornton Le Dale is a lovely place to visit and Gateways is in an ideal location however there are a few issues with the house ...there was mould in the corner of the shower, it had clearly been there for some time [!] and there's a small window in the bathroom missing and boarded up. The furniture in the lounge was looking 'tired' and the garden nRead moreeeds some work. It's not very private both in the garden and people looking in the kitchen window as they walk by. Road noise was an issue for us too. Hide
