Spotlessly clean and bright, comfortable bed. Lovely walk into town but property is on a hill so someone with mobility issues may struggle. We've had a fab week!

Family Tides is in a great position for exploring Swanage and all the Jurassic coast. We had a lovely time visiting Corfe Castle, Arne nature reserve, Abbotsbury gardens, Durlston Head, as well as Swanage town with all its eateries and shops. The property was warm , clean, and very well provided with all you would need on holiday. And the views of Read morethe sea and sunsets are special. Thank you. Hide

This is a lovely place to stay. The house was clean and tidy and very well stocked. Little touches like a pint of milk in the fridge and a bottle of wine were great. The conservatory was lovely for meals and evening games of Scrabble! The bathroom was small but perfectly usable and the shower was good. This is the second time we have stayed at this wonderful home. Its perfect, as it is a short walk into Swanage (where there are wonderful shops, fish & chips, and bakeries.) It is also close to Corfe Castle, studland beach and plenty of walks. The house itself is wonderful, there is a large conservatory on the back and you can see the sea from the Read morebedroom. We will definitely be coming back for a third time! Hide

It is up a steep hill from the main road and much further from the town than we expected On the plus side the bus stop was very close with a great service to all surrounding towns

Steep hill was fine at beginning of holiday but towards end when out walking all day I found it tiring. Had to park my car on the road space next to property was small and had a small step that caught the underside of my car.

The only problem encountered was in relation to our dog. At no point prior to arrival were we informed pets were not allowed upstairs. I recommend that the property information on line includes this detail or would that prevent to many bookings. It should also be pointed out that even a medium size dog can get between the railings on the stairs.

A very comfortable and clean house, which is very well-equipped, with everything you could need. The name of the house on it would help with finding it. Also a warning about the concrete edge to the drive would be helpful, to prevent damage to the underside of cars.

We had a lovely stay at Family Tides and would recommend it to others. The milk, biscuits and other items like hand soap were much appreciated. A hose to attach to the outside tap would be useful for rinsing off wetsuits and beach stuff. The walk into town is lovely via the high street.
