Cottage in a great location with extensive sea views from the old coastguard lookout. Super comfortable beds. Very generous levels of kitchen equipment/crockery/cutlery. Plenty of great walks from the cottage and nearby.

This is a superb cottage in a great location. It is spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The owners are friendly and very accommodating, a generous goodie basket and fresh flowers which I loved. There are many beautiful beaches/ places to visit in the area. I have no hesitation in recommending Old Coastguard cottage.

Lovely cottage so well equipped with lots of thoughtful touches. Highly recommend it. You do however need a car as it is on a very steep hill. It was relaxing just sitting watching the sea and chilling.

You simply won't find a better equipped holiday cottage - everything you need is there with enough basic supplies for the week. It's all spotlessly clean and well maintained. A first class property. A lovely welcome touch was the treats left for us by the owners, they were enjoyed by us all. The property was very well equipped. The 'oberservation bay' was a lovely place to sit in and watch the local wildlife. Also relaxing place to sit and listen to the sea. We couldn't fault the place.

Fantastic cottage with everything you need and Sharron is a great host. Generous welcome pack which is so thoughtful, decor is modern and tasteful. We stayed at the Old Coastguard Cottage for ten nights. It was peaceful and relaxing. It was central to visiting many castles, beaches, small towns and Edinburgh. It is also not too far from a train station. We rented a car so we could travel at our leisure. It was wonderful!
