We stayed for a week in July and really enjoyed our visit. The cottage was comfortable, quiet and peaceful, besides being well equipped making it feel homely. It's an easy 10 minute walk into Bamburgh and we found plenty to do in the wider area, Lindisfarne was easy to get to by road, as was Craigside, the home of the Armstrong family, both worth aRead more visit. We also enjoyed a boat trip from nearby Seahorses around the Farne islands. Hide

A beautifully presented cottage, a real home from home. Walking distance to pubs and restaurants in Bamburgh and of course the amazing beach. Not the warmest of weeks but still managed to visit all the tourist spots and boat trip to Farne Islands. Note that the TV Freeview reception isn't great. Everywhere dog friendly and unlike previous review, wRead moree didn't find the footpath to Bamburgh a problem with the dog. Hide
