We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully furnished cottage; everything is of a high standard and immaculately clean. The bed and sofa are extremely comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped. Instructions were avaialble for everything and the owners are on hand with any queries (allowed us early check in and late check out at no extra Read morecharge which was greatly appreciated). The surroundings are very peaceful with sounds of birds and farm animals - with lots of quaint villages and things to do within a short drive. We would definitely recommend the cottage and would most definitely book to stay there again.... thank you for a lovely short retreat... Hide

Excellent stay. The cottage is well equipped, cosy and in a good location for days out. We went to Scarborough, York, Harrogate and also to Whitby on the ESK valley fro Great Ayton. Really nice to see some of Yorkshire. Good grossery shops a few minutes away. Will definitely visit again. Fantastic. Many thanks Richard.

Despite being next door to other visitors, we didnt hear or see anyone else other than the hosts. The setting is lovely and there were walks for our canine friend, plus the facilities are first class. The location is close enough to Easingwold to be convenient for shops/ cafes and pubs, all of which extend a warm welcome to visitors. The location iRead mores also conveient for day trips to Darlington, English Heritage sites ( castles and the like) plus of course York with all its attractions. Hide
