This cottage is located in a fantastic position just on the outer edge of the village of Little Ouseburn, we found it really quiet, peaceful and restful. The furniture and fixings are everything you need to make your stay really comfortable. The Coach House clearly has history but it has been made into very pleasant cottage accommodation. Vehicle Read moreaccess from the road is good and safe, which leads to a decent parking area which is private. Moat Hall is situated to one side of the property and on the other across the adjacent field is the ancient village church, which boarders the area of, Ouse Gill Beck and a local nature reserve. Literally a five minuet walk along the lane. We used the Coach House cottage as a base to explore the wider areas of this lovely part of the world. There are so many different places to go and visit. The road net work across Yorkshire certainly during the month of May was a pleasure to use and travel to Whitby and back down the East Coast being easily achievable in a day. The park and ride locations that we used on several occasions were brilliant and saved so much time, money (car parking is free) bus fair is cheap and its stress free. I could go on but seriously we really loved this cottage as our base, it worked out better than we expected. Hide
