Set in one of Whitby's famous and historic yards, this fantastic apartment is ideal for enjoying everything this popular seaside town has to offer. With a fantastic choice of independent shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes available from the doorstep, the apartment is also perfect for sightseeing, with medieval streets, the picturesque harbour and the ruins of Whitby Abbey all nearby. There are sandy beaches on both sides of the River Esk, and you can also enjoy breathtaking cliff-top walks. There are pretty coastal villages nearby including Sandsend (3 miles), Staithes (10.5 miles), Runswick Bay (8.5 miles) and Robin Hood's Bay (6 miles), or you could head inland to explore the romantic North York Moors (2 miles).

Enjoying a stunning view of Whitby Abbey, this centrally located apartment has been stylishly designed, tastefully decorated and features a spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner on the first floor. The welcoming lounge features comfortable seating and a TV, and two Georgian windows which overlook the town. There's also a charming dining area, and the attractive kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and a coffee maker. Heading down to the ground floor you will find the beautiful master bedroom which features a double bed and is situated next to the shower room which has a large walk-in shower and WC. Heading up to the second floor, there's a twin room set in the eaves of the building, which also has an en-suite WC.

The property lies within Whitby's conservation precinct and has no outside space, but the beach and a fantastic range of pubs and restaurants are all close by.

Great, good value for money apartment split over 3 floors. Centrally located, makes a good base for Whitby and surrounding area. In easy walking distance of pubs, shops, cafes, park & harbour.

The property is billed as luxury holiday accommodation but, to be honest, it felt like we had borrowed someone's house. There were personal belongings everywhere, there wasn't a single shelf for food to be stored, bedding was bleached and stained, and bathroom towels were literally falling apart at the seams. It is a shame because we loved the locaRead moretion, views and living room but too many short cuts had been taken. Oh, and why are parking scratch cards only provided for 4 days when we stayed 7?
