We stayed at Seaview Cottage as a group of seven and there is no doubt that the location is excellent. The cottage is right by the sea with beautiful views and a very relaxing setting. It is also well equipped, with everything you would expect for a family stay in terms of kitchenware and general facilities. However, the house was hardly cleaned aRead morend was very dirty! Thsi included the itchen with dirty surfaces and floors and the bathroom with dirty showers. To their credit, a cleaner was arranged to return, but this meant we were unable to use the property for around two hours on arrival, which was frustrating after a long journey. Although the second clean improved things, the property still felt as though it needed a more thorough deep clean. Hide

Lovely cottage and really enjoyed the location and being able to just walk out, cross the promenard and surf. Enjoyed not feeling lile you had to get in the car each day and go somewhere. Kids were both talking about "when we come next time" from day 1 which is always good.

Highly recommend staying at Sea View. The home is comfortable, well equipped and has fantastic access to Spittal beach. It is approx 30min easy walk into Berwick. This was a fabulous holiday rental, right on the seafront/promenade/beach. No traffic noise, only the sound of the sea day and night, quiet and with lots of its own outdoor space. We really couldn't fault it. Loads of places to visit if you want to but we spent most of the week by the sea at the house. Beds comfortable, sofas comfortable, plenty ofRead more space for seven people. Lovely "beach decor" There can't be many holiday cottages in the country with such a setting and view. Hide

The location of the house was absolutely fabulous. Three things I would change. 1. Storage in the kitchen for visitors provisions, there is only one little cupboard. 2. Lack of space to plate up food. 3. The bed in the master bedroom would benefit from a king size bed as the double was a bit small and uncomfortable.

A perfect home from home. Views from the house are amazing and lots to see out and about. Boat trip from Seahouses to see the bird life and Puffins was fab. Holy Island was a lovely day out. Bamburgh Castle and Berwick too. Eyemouth over the border into Scotland. All recommended.
