Situated in a beautiful part of the North York Moors, the pretty village of Rosedale Abbey has a choice of charming pubs and cafes and lies at the centre of five converging lanes, each taking you across the moor. From here you can reach Blakey Ridge (6 miles), Danby Dale (10 miles), the Vale of Pickering (16 miles), Hutton-Le-Hole (4 miles), Egton Bridge (8.5 miles) and Farndale (6 miles). On entering this pretty cottage, which dates back to 1850, you will find yourself in the cosy and welcoming lounge which is an ideal space to relax in at the end of a great day, with comfortable seating, TV and a selection of games and books. There is a table and chairs here where you can enjoy a homecooked meal. Exploring the ground floor further you will find a stylishly designed kitchen which is fully equipped with an oven, microwave and dishwasher. Going upstairs there's a beautiful double-height bedroom. A lovely welcoming cosy cottage in a great location in the centre of the village. The details, such as the quality toiletries provided, and decorative touches in the cottage, made it feel very special.

It was a lovely cottage, thoughtfully and very well equipped. The sitting room area was very comfortable, as was the bed. It was a brilliant place to stay for walking, cycling ( challenging!) with great tea shops and pubs nearby. In a great place for visits to Scarborough, Whitby and Pickering. We would love to come back and stay again!
