Swanage is a traditional coastal town with a popular sandy beach and a great selection of independent shops, cafes and restaurants. Rolling hills surround the town, ensuring you’ll have the best of both worlds when it comes to walking routes, with the South West Coast Path, Ballard Down and Durlston Country Park all within 2 miles. From here, you can take the steam train to Corfe Castle, which is home to castle ruins cared for by the National Trust as well as pretty streets to explore. Within 14 miles are many attractions including Monkey World, The Tank Museum, RSPB Arne, walled town of Wareham, Studland and Tyneham village.

Adjacent to the owners’ home, yet with privacy assured, a private entrance gate leads to the door into this first-floor apartment. Once inside, you are met with a small vestibule and narrow staircase leading to the property. There is a welcoming open-plan living space, with comfortable seating, TV and room to dine. The room is cleverly divided to create a bedroom space, complete with a double bed, distant sea glimpse and a Juliet balcony. Due to the setting within the eaves, there are some areas of restricted head height and a floor level beam beside the bed, care is to be taken. Heading back through the lounge area and up a step you will find the compact kitchen, which is equipped with an electric hob, combination microwave oven and fridge with ice compartment. Just next door is a contemporary bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

The property is accessed through a private courtyard with seating and covered bike storage, an ideal spot to enjoy your morning coffee. To the front of the property is a shared drive with off-road parking space for one car. Additional roadside parking is subject to availability.

This is a great place to stay. It is very cleverly designed to create very comfortable accommodation, maximising use of space . It is very thoughtfully and well equipped. Its location is great for Swanage beach and town, and is also very well placed for visiting Dorset's many attractions. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic stay at Arnedale and Alison and Haydn were very considerate hosts. The apartment is ideally positioned for the beach, a short stroll into Swanage and ideal for exploring the Purbeck coast.

Lovely apartment in a super location close to Swanage seafront and town. Facilities in the apartment were perfect - everything you could need. Great welcome hamper too. Would recommend going to The Black Swan for a meal - we went twice! Lovely walks to do nearby and good bus links. Would definitely return.

This was our second stay at Arnewood. Its very comfortable and so much thought has been put into it. Its in an excellent location and we have thoroughly enjoyed both our visits. Look forward to being back next year!

We had a wonderful time in this cosy flat for two. Its a really well planned out space. Near to the sea and beach. We had bikes with us so short ride to the town centre and restaurants/pubs. Great location for exploring the area Corfe Castle and Studland not to far away.

A really stylish and beautifully planned apartment situated handily for the north beach and a 10 minute walk to the centre of Swanage. Lovely comfortable well equipped flat.Close to seafront 20 minutes walk (at a slow walk) from centre. Great to have parking and as we brought our e own bikes the secure bike storage was great. Loads to do in the area .Corfe castle not to be missed .Plenty of places to eat out Salt pig particularly good. Flat has good cooking facilities and equipmenRead moret. Lovely clean & cosy property which was very well equipped.Great location for days out in the car and just a few minutes walk to the beach and town centre. Nothing was too much trouble and they were great, when i contacted the owners Alison & Haydn for a little help and guidance. We would definitely return back there one day.

Really well cared for property, location very central and quiet despite only being 10 minutes from the beach. Great also for walks and bus station if you dont want to use car during your stay.

The accommodation was beautiful and very well thought out. It was immaculately clean and very well equipped. We had a lovely welcome basket which was such a nice surprise. It was an easy walk into Swanage town centre and even quicker to the seafront. The accommodation is close to all the amenities but is in such a peaceful place with good views as Read morewell. This is a lovely property and ideal for a couple. Its so comfortable, well equipped and in a great location. We had a very happy week there and look forward to revisiting in the future.
