For those who like to explore the local towns whilst away, Dorchester, which lies just sixteen miles south of property, has a good range of shops and eateries, as well as a number of museums specialising in teddy bears, dinosaurs, and even Tutankhamun.
On entering this barn conversion property, guests will find themselves in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with its inviting leather sofas, warming wood burner, TV and DVD, dining table seating eight, and patio doors which lead out to the courtyard. A breakfast bar in the spacious kitchen area provides a second dining space, and is ideal for enjoying drinks and chatting whilst preparing meals. The kitchen itself has been well thought out and offers an electric range style cooker, microwave, American style fridge freezer, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. Also on the ground floor is a convenient cloakroom with WC. All four of the property’s bedrooms are located on the first floor, the first of which is a double room which benefits from an en-suite bathroom with shower-over-bath and WC , as well as a Juliette balcony. The second bedroom is also a double room, whilst there is also a twin room and a bink bedroom. The main bathroom offers a shower-over-bath and WC. Guests at all four properties have shared use of extensive grounds, which include two pretty lakes which are home to an abundance of wildlife, as well as lawn areas, and a children’s play area with a climbing frame and slide. The wonderful indoor heated swimming pool, is open to all guests on a daily basis from 8.30am -8pm, although times may vary, as it is sometimes this booked for private use.
