We had a wonderful weekend at Highfield House. Brian and Anne were very welcoming and the tour on arrival made settling in easy, especially with the sauna and hot tub. The house was amazing, but the garden, hot tub, sauna and outbuilding with log burner made it truly special. Despite staying in winter, we spent most of our time outside relaxing, plRead moreaying games and enjoying coffee. Our group of six loved every minute and we will definitely return, hopefully in summer. Hide

Ingleton is a lovely location - lots of walking with fine views, plenty of eateries and places of interest - big enough to offer variety over a week's holiday without being overrun like more well known destinations in the Lakes/Dales. House just beautiful. Plenty of reasons to just stay in and relax, with a view of the hillside.

Good location, ample range of kitchen utensils etc, bedding was fresh and the bed was really comfy. The main bathroom shower is better than the one in the en-suite, but that is also adequate, just me being a little picky!
