Strawberry Cottage is a perfect location from which to explore the beautiful Isle Of Wight. Brighstone is a lovely little village. Very quiet and in a great place to get to attractions easy. We started by reacquainting ourselves with the wonderful Isle Of Wight Pearl which is a lovely jewellery store specialising in Pearl Jewellery and it also has Read morea fabulous cafe which you can get breakfast and lunch. We also went to the Needles which is less than 30 mins ago. Literally 5 Mins away is Mottistone Gardens which is a very pretty garden with a decent cafe which does good cakes, sandwiches and a selection of ice cream, teas and coffees etc. There are many walks to be had by simply walking out of the cottage and turning left. Down moor lane there are serval footpaths, one of which leads up to the downs visible from the cottage. The cottage is very well appointed having good heating systems - which we definitely required this week it being quite a bit cooler than last year. It has a great Bosch oven and induction hob and a dish washer, washing machine and tumble drier. The property has a great smart TV and fast fibre internet so no issue with internet connectivity or streaming services. It has a great garden fully enclosed and very safe and secure for dogs. Theres some garden furniture where one can have lunch outside with an umbrella to stay shaded if its too hot. Theres also a good driveway to enable ones car to be fully off the road. The owners greeted us on the Saturday and are charming and very welcoming. We have already rebooked again for next year which will be our 3rd visit. We are really looking forward to it! Hide

Lovely quiet bungalow. Everything you need & spotlessly clean. 10 minute walk into village, nice friendly pub & amazingly well stocked village shop. Definitely a great place for a quiet peaceful break. Will be back. Lovely touches for Christmas.

Alison and Colin were so friendly and helpful, couldn't have asked more of them and they have gone above and beyond to make Strawberry Cottage a real home from home. Great location for all places we wanted to visit the cottage was in a lovely quiet area. Clean and well equipped for our needs, secure garden for the dog and grand children to play in. Hosts were very welcoming on our arrival. Only complaint, was that we found the bed very uncomfortable and did not get much sleep throughout the week.
