We stayed for 3 nights, it's an absolute beautiful cottage and surroundings are idyllic, you could definitely make yourself at home here. We were welcomed with a basket of alcoholic drinks, crisps and chocolate eggs which was a nice touch. Our first two nights were perfect, couldn't wish for more. But the last day unfortunately the heating oil supRead moreply ran low so it was quite chilly esp as it was a cold windy day, we did light the fire for the evening which made the living room nice and toasty but hot water was in very low supply for the evening, not enough for a family of four so some of us endured a chilly shower ,let alone a bath which was a dissapointing end to our stay. We did inform the homeowner who has apologised although we did feel we paid a premium for the misshap. As I say the cottage is beautiful but stay not perfect unfortunately Hide

Exceptional place to stay in a quiet, beautiful location. If you have dogs, the paddock is well secured and large enough for them to run and play, which was a huge selling point for us when booking. We'll certainly be visiting again!
