Located on a beautiful clifftop overlooking the sea, this stunning holiday home puts you right in the centre of the North East’s most charming stretches of coastline. With sandy beaches in every direction, a rich seaside history, and a vibrant cafe, dining and local art culture, it’s the perfect setting to share relaxed days with friends and family. For the more active, cycle along the seafront on the dedicated cycle paths, connecting to numerous cycle trails or enjoy a gentle stroll or a run along the promenades to Whitley Bay's iconic Spanish City. Visit St Mary's Lighthouse, where, at low tide, you can walk across the causeway to the island and spot the resting seals. Head to the dramatic ruins at Tynemouth Priory, and further on, past Collingwood Monument to Fish Quay Sands and North Shields Fish Quay. Every weekend, the Tynemouth Metro Market showcases local producers, artists and businesses.

Access the property from the rear, through a gate into a welcoming Mediterranean-style courtyard – an inviting spot that sets the tone for your stay. Enter the property into a well-equipped utility room with space to kick off sandy walking shoes, hooks to hang outdoor coats and a handy storage bench to perch on. This leads to a beautiful, spacious open-plan kitchen and dining area. The central island with bar stools, a large extendable dining table and Smart TV all create a fantastic sociable area. Bi-fold doors open directly onto the courtyard, making inside/outside living easy all year round. Continue through to the lounge, with a bay window that looks out onto Browns Bay and enjoys the most magnificent uninterrupted sea views across the front garden. Large sofas and plush swivel chairs are arranged to make the most of the views and also to enjoy sociable nights in watching Smart TV. A wood burner adds a cosy touch, especially in the winter months. Upstairs, three restful bedrooms are thoughtfully arranged. To the front, a super-king-size room with a Juliet balcony takes in breathtaking views across the Bay. The double bedroom shares the same beautiful outlook. A spacious family bathroom with a bath and separate shower serves these two bedrooms. To the rear, the king-size, en-suite bedroom enjoys far-reaching sea views over the rooftops out to the North Sea and towards Tynemouth Priory over Cullercoats Bay.

Outside to the rear of the property, the beautifully planted courtyard is furnished with stylish seating and a charcoal BBQ. The soft lighting creates a lovely setting for al fresco dining. There is a lawned garden to the front with a gate leading onto the coastal path. You also have access to a small, secure garage for the storage of bikes and/or surf gear. Parking for one car is available at the rear of the property. Additional on-street, non-permit parking nearby, subject to availability.
