Set in the characterful town of New Mills, this dog-friendly, welcoming mid-terraced cottage is perfectly placed for exploring one of the Peak District’s most distinctive corners. Just 0.5 miles from the centre, you’ll find independent shops, cafés and traditional pubs, while scenic walks begin almost from the doorstep. Discover the dramatic Torrs gorge (0.5 miles) and the striking Millennium Walkway (0.5 miles), suspended above the river, or head out along the Sett Valley Trail (0.5 miles), a popular route leading to Hayfield (0.5 miles) at the foot of Kinder Scout. Lyme Park (11 miles) offers expansive parkland and historic grounds, while Buxton (12 miles) and Bakewell (18 miles) provide great days out with shops, dining and local attractions. There are also lots of lovely dog walks in the surrounding area.
