You will also find boutique shops and a selection of high-quality pubs and restaurants here, as well as a passenger ferry to the harbour town of Padstow (14.5 miles by car), a foodie haven with more chic shops to explore. Port Isaac, a charming seaside town with yet more superb places to eat, is only 8 miles away. Surfers will want to head to the waves at Polzeath Beach (2.5 miles), while golfers can tee off at St Enodoc (1.5 miles) where there are two 18-hole courses.
