This stand out cottage is luxury at its very best with its high-end stylish interiors coupled with its fabulous views it makes for the perfect Cornish getaway. Situated within the owners' grounds yet with privacy assured this wonderful area offers so much to see and do for all ages. This lesser-known corner of Cornwall is one of few surfing spots on this side of the county and offers lots of little gems of coastline to plan a good walk, to grab a cliff top coffee or a fish and chip lunch. For golf lovers, the Whitsand Bay Golf Course (1 mile) is next to the village. The Torpoint ferry is a short drive away (6 miles), and from here you can cross the River Tamar into the city of Plymouth and visit ‘Drake’s Hoe’ or the Barbican where there is plenty of sightseeing to do.

Enter the cottage through the owners' grounds and into a great hallway with glamorous interiors and stylish decor. The two bedrooms are on the ground floor and both offer spacious rooms with comfy beds, areas to dress and get ready for the day as well as the master boasting a six metre fitted wardrobe, en-suite bathroom and Smart TV, the perfect place for a lazy lie in. Upstairs is a fabulous open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with vaulted ceilings, a huge centre island unit and wonderful glass doors overlooking the glorious countryside and beyond, this room does have the wow factor! The kitchen is fully equipped and offers a very sociable space for chatting around the island whilst enjoying an evening all together. Meanwhile, there is a dining area for all the family as well as a lovely cosy snug area with beautiful sofas where you can sit down and relax after a long day out taking in the Cornish sea air. The utility room contains the washing machine and a very handy shower room completes the property.

Outside is an enclosed garden laid to lawn with an additional patio area for BBQ and dining alfresco in the sunshine. An added bonus to this property is the use of the owners Kayak (at own risk) which is perfectly situated on Portwrinkle Beach ready for use. Life jacket and paddle is also available for loan together with a stand-up paddle board.

What a fabulous place! No expense spared on comfort, equipment and decor. Excellent pub up the road in walking distance, very friendly and excellent food. Hosts live next door so on-hand if needed, very friendly and had some excellent suggestions for places to visit and we managed most of them. Spectacular views and very peaceful. What an absolutely beautiful holiday cottage this is. Without doubt the best one we have had the pleasure of staying in. The lovely owner greeted us on arrival and showed us around as well as pointing us in the direction of some nice places to visit and places to eat. Everything we could possibly need was provided, excellently equipped kitchen (besRead moret toaster ever, we are getting one on order!). Every room was beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. The views from the upstairs living area where stunning. I have never felt so instantly at home in a holiday cottage before. The local pub is only a 2 minute walk away, the food and service where excellent. The community shop, again, only a minutes walk away was handy (apple juice & cake purchased, both local and both lovely). A delightful cottage, beautifully maintained and equipped to a very high standard, private, cosy and peaceful. Hosts Maxine and Billy are lovely and friendly without being intrusive and are a font of all local knowledge. The cottage is within walking distance to the Pub "The Finnygook Inn" which served delicious food. The Canteen at Makers Heights Read moreis also a good choice for a place to eat. Lovely accommodation and the hosts, Maxine and Billy were extremely friendly and helpful. The property was very comfortable and great for relaxation, with 'top notch' fixtures and fittings. It's perfect for a holiday in the south east of Cornwall, near to many great Cornish attractions and a good quality pub within easy walking distance.

The Lookout is the perfect venue for a Cornish holiday. Maxine is the quintessential hostess, most welcoming on arrival but discreet (though available) thereafter. The fixtures and fittings are all of the highest quality, the WiFi fast and easily accessible , the furnishings comfortable and relaxing. Highly recommended.

The Lookout is a beautiful property with an amazing view. It has a high end finish in every room and tastefully decorated throughout. Maxine and Billy were most friendly and welcoming. It is the best Cornwall holiday accommodation we have stayed in and will be our first choice for future Cornwall holidays.

Just had a fabulous week here with the husband. Excellent accomodation and stunning views. Maxine is lovely and gave us lots of ideas for places to visit. This is a particularly unspoilt part of Cornwall, so if you're looking to chill but with access to nearby pretty villages I can highly recommend. Would love to be still there.

The Lookout is a comfortable, clean, warm, and well-equipped property with lovely views over the countryside. The cream tea and other goodies were very much appreciated - thank you, Maxine. What a find. We were very fortunate to find this holiday accommodation with excellent views across the valley. We had a super week watching the newly born lambs playing in the fields opposite. This cottage is exceptional and the pictures don't do it justice. It was built by the owners for their family before being let out so everything is as they would have wanted it so it's a true home from home with no expense spared (I've never been to a cottage with Miele appliances!).
