Trelawny is a big, roomy barn conversion set some way from the main road through the hamlet of London Apprentice and very close to the cycle way to Pentewan on the coast. The location is ideal for visits to the Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Mevagissey, Charlestown and Fowey. The house is comfortable with a modern kitchen and two modernRead more en-suite bathrooms serving the two double bedrooms. Parking is not a problem and the owners live just across the yard. The only problem we encountered was outside the control of the owners. There are semi-feral, freely wandering peacocks in the village which create a huge amount of piercing noise, especially at dusk and dawn, which at times interrupted our sleep. However, other than the noisy peacocks, we can recommend Trelawny. Hide

We (me, husband & brother) have had many cottage holidays over the years but Trelawny at Polgreen Farm has been one of our favourite stays. The whole property was exceptionally clean, very comfortable & the kitchen well equipped. The cottage feels quite secluded but it's not far off the main road so quick access to travel around this lovely county.

Firstly I have to say the owners of Trelawny cottage were really lovely and very welcoming. The cottage was immaculate with everything you would need for self-catering. It was very quiet at night and very comfortable.

Walking in for the first time you think, oh yes! The property is really well done. Quality everywhere. Attention to detail down to recycling bins, and including a full set of kitchen utensils. Lovely setting, the house has a stable with three ponies, the owners live in the farm house next door. Will come again.

Trelawney is a well equipped cottage. It was spotlessly clean. We found it very comfortable and warm .... we were there in October. It is in a quiet location but very convenient for coast, popular visitor attractions and shopping.

This cottage was pristine and gave the impression that we were the first guests. The owners were friendly, helpful and welcoming and nothing was a trouble for them. We would not hesitate to recommend this cottage as a super place to spend a holiday.
