This beautiful barn conversion situated in a prime location on the North Cornwall coast, there is plenty to see and do for all the family. If a day at the seaside is your thing there are plenty to choose from, Watergate Bay and Daymer Bay to name just a few, from surfing to swimming everything is catered for. Just a short drive away is the pleasant town of Wadebridge, with fine boutiques and cafes, along with other picturesque towns such as Padstow and St Agnes. The Camel Trail is also nearby for keen walkers and cyclists. Or if you wish to head further afield the quirky town of Newquay is only seven miles away. Other attractions in the area include many National Trust properties, Camel Creek Adventure Park, the Eden Project and many more.

Upon entering this property, you will find yourself in the bright open-plan lounge/kitchen diner with patio doors leading to the outside.  The comfy sofas are perfect to snuggle up on whilst watching your favourite film on the TV/DVD whilst the wood burner effect stove  flickers in the background. Bit disappointed that had to check out before 9am for additional cleaning especially as although cottage was clean could have been better.ie windows,extractor greasy, glass on kitchen cupboards dirty

Cottage has a good location, could have been cleaner & 9 o'clock check out for cleaning is early (usually 10 seeing as you can't get in until 4). When booking it, the check out time was 10 o'clock on Holiday Cottages Website, and found out a week before our holiday it was 9 o'clock this should be mentioned on the booking website when booking.

The cottage was beautiful, spacious and clean and tidy.Everything we needed was there and the views over the fields and the quiet was lovely. Thank you for a great holiday

This was our second time staying at Hooters Rest, it is a lovely cottage in a great location a few miles from Padstow. We would recommend Pickwicks in St Issey if you want a meal out

We have stayed here before it is a great location. House is so beautiful. We had everything we needed.great garden for the children to play in. We will definitely stay here again

We had an brilliant stay at Hooter's Rest and really loved the cottage. It was very well equipped and attractively decorated with comfortable beds and sofas. Definitely a relaxing place to stay with amazing view and the bonus of the owl hooting in the early evenings. The location was fantastic taking about five minutes to drive into Padstow. All otRead moreher popular attractions were within reasonable driving distance. We had plenty of space with the four bedrooms and loved the big garden for our dog. Hide

Superb quality accommodation, clean & well kitted out, ideally placed for padstow, porthcothan and many other places of interest. Also close enough to supermarkets & petrol stations to make for a stress free stay, but secluded enough to feel like youre mikes away from anything & anyone
