To the north lies the ever-popular destinations of Port Isaac, famed in the TV show Doc Martin, Padstow, Rock, and Polzeath which is one of the country’s surfing hot spots, all within 20 miles. From the cottage, you can visit the local village pubs at Lanivet, Luxulyan and Lanlivery. Attractions include cycling at Cardinham, the National Lobster Hatchery, Newquay Zoo, Karting at St Eval, many National Trust properties and an 18-hole golf course in Bodmin (20 miles).
