Explore the area on nearby footpaths or head to Dunwich Heath and beach (7.5 miles), visit the RSPB Reserve at Minsmere (8 miles) to go wildlife spotting. Pop into Blythburgh for the village shop or visit the pub for a delicious meal and enjoy the gorgeous views from the pub garden. Visit the ever-popular seaside town of Southwold (5 miles), with its pier, promenade and beaches, head to the harbour (6 miles) and go over the river on the foot ferry (summer only) or footbridge to Walberswick, home of crabbing. Visit the market town of Halesworth (5 miles), go on a tour and tasting at Valley Farm Vineyards (6 miles) and play a round at Halesworth Golf (4 miles).

Please note that the swimming pool, which is managed by the Blyth View management company, may be closed from time to time for essential maintenance and, unfortunately, this is outside our control.

Blythburgh is a pretty, unspoilt village located three miles from Walberswick and just over four miles from Southwold. It is a small, quiet village with an historic public house serving good food, fine views of the estuary and the famous 13th Century church known as the Cathedral of the Marshes. There is also a village shop and post office.
