Wow! When you enter the property, the view is spectacular! We've never stayed anywhere quite like this and it surpassed all expectations. I think the cottage is as close as you could possibly get to being on the water, whilst still being on dry land! The cottage is gorgeous, well furnished, beautifully thought out and very clean, comfortably & Read morefunctional. Polruan is a delight. I loved the steep pathways & enjoyed exploring the narrow streets and walk ways. Fabulous walking & views on the "Hall Walk" and lovely to find St. Wyllows church where Jane Slade & Daphne Du Maurier were both married. Dinner at The Russel was very tasty (do book though), lovely "Willows" cafe & well stocked shop, give you everything you need on your doorstep. And catching the little ferry boat from Polruan to Fowey couldn't be easier. Fowey is larger & has more shops/restaurants etc & as the last ferry back is at 11pm, gives great choice & flexibility. Thoroughly recommend the walk from Fowey to Gribbin Head - breath taking views! We were only there for a long weekend and packed a lot in. Can't wait to go back again for a longer stay! Thank you very much. Hide

A difficult property to reach, the access to the village is tricky and time consuming. The steep hill to the car park and steps to the property make it very difficult for anyone with mobility issues.

Highly recommend this beautiful property in the middle of Pol. It could not be more convenient. If you are lucky enough to snag a parking space on the quay then it's even more so. Warm and cosy with a lovely deck for sitting out over the beach.

We just loved the location and the views from all rooms. We didn't get to use the beach because of the weather so would love to come back again and do that. We really appreciated the balcony, especially as the glass was kept spotlessly clean. If it wasn't it would've impaired the view from the lounge.

We absolutely love coming to Polruan and staying at Waterwitch Cottage,we have stayed there 6 times now,we love it so much! The views and location are breathtaking!Obviously the outside terrace and steps down to the little beach are the main attraction and what makes Waterwitch really special! We loved the new bigger terrace, but were disappointed aRead moret the outside furniture given the cottage sleeps 4 people.Hopefully this is something that can be resolved to make Waterwitch absolutely perfect!
