Notter Mill is a great base for you to explore the South West, with easy access to the A38. With the local pub 500 metres from your door and supermarkets within 2.5 miles, you will have everything you need for a great break away. Head out to the coast and visit the popular fishing village of Looe famous for its bars, restaurants, local shops and boat trips, or take a stroll through pretty Polperro or have a day of adventure at Adrenaline Quarry or, further afield, the famous Eden Project. This wonderful complex of cottages is nestled on the banks of the River Lynher in a peaceful and secluded setting with a tranquil atmosphere and boasts plenty for the family to do with its own outdoor heated swimming pool and play facilities, and fishing available locally.

Enter the lodge and step into a very spacious lounge/dining/kitchen with plenty of light and a wonderfully open feel. The kitchen is complete with an electric oven and hob, microwave, and fridge/freezer, the perfect place to pack up a good lunch for the day or cook up a delicious evening meal. Head through to the lounge/dining area where you will find a great sociable place to spend time either around the dining table or relaxing on the comfy seating in front of the open fire watching your favourite programmes on the TV with Freeview. Heading through to the two bedrooms, the first is a lovely king-size bedroom with plenty of storage space while the second is a triple room with a bunk bed and an additional single bed, great for children. Next door is the bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC.

Outside is a wonderful patio area with garden furniture and a private bubbling hot tub, as well as a shared lawn to use. The complex has a coin-operated launderette available on-site for guests, along with a play area, tennis court, and an outdoor heated swimming pool (open from Spring Bank Holiday at the end of May  to early September) for all to enjoy. There is parking for one car on the private driveway outside the lodge, with further parking in the shared private car park.

This location will be absolutely wonderful in the summer when the rain has stopped, it doesn't have much tolerance for heavy rainfall as it is essentially marshland. The lodge was lovely and clean and the facilities in were great for the most part although hot running water was hit and miss. Very peaceful lovely pub down the road serves best roast dinner! Place needs more out door lighting especially leading to the hot tub! Very clean decorated nicely just in need lick of paint in certain areas. Friendly host

Great location to explore both Devon and Cornwall. The site was peaceful with lots to do and suited our young family perfectly - the children loved the pool and hot tub, and seeing the butterflies and dragonflies down by the river. We hope to return!

Had a lovely time. Owners were very nice and helpful. Was so nice for my dog just to walk around the site off the lead on his own. 2 other permanent residents have dogs that do the same. My dog loved every minute of it.

The cottage was very clean and the rooms were tidy. There were enough utensils, crockery and cutlery for 5 people and a dishwasher for the end of the day clean up. The jacuzzi was amazing and easy to use - we loved having access to it and enjoyed the privacy screen which allowed us to relax without feeling overlooked. The pool was wonderful and warRead morem enough to swim even on cooler days. All in all we were very happy and would recommend to family and friends. Hide

We stayed here over the weekend and it was for complete RR as we are selling and buying, we just needed to de-stress. We couldn't have picked a more perfect place! So quiet and picturesque, the accommodation was fantastic and had everything we needed. We would definitely return here.

We really enjoyed our stay. Its was different and very calming. The hot tub we had had regular checks. The owners where really friendly and welcoming, also always there if you needed them. It was an amazing relaxing holiday. I would highly recommend going. I think this might be our regular place.

A great base to explore Cornwall and Plymouth. Beautiful location, well presented cottage and hot tub. Perfect for families with both younger and older children with plenty to do and see on site to keep them occupied/entertained! We will definitely be back!

Great hot tub the rest of the property could do with some TLC. Lacking hot running water, reliable heating & general home comfort.
